The weather was cool, and it was a bit damp, but the Goderich Laketown Band soldiered on. What a dedicated bunch of musicians! A special thanks goes out to Peter Neeb, who volunteered to drive us around on his flat bed truck.

Every spring, the Goderich Laketown Band participates in the Sound of Goderich, held at the Lakeshore United Church. If you missed us then, click on the picture below to see us perform and maybe we’ll see you at our next performance which will be June 19th at Harbour Park.

Anyone who has attended a Sound of Goderich concert knows that it would not be complete without the presence of Hugh McGregor – Mr. McGregor to several generations of Huron County music students – conductor of the Laketown Band and leader of the Suncoast Brass (and member of the Lighthouse Swing Band and Kincardine Brass Band.)
